Lucy Meacock

Known for her work with England's ITV Granada network, this prominent broadcast journalist began presenting the Granada Reports program in the late 1980s and celebrated her twenty-fifth hosting anniversary in 2013.
After attending private schools in both Australia and England, she began her career in journalism with a British newspaper called the Chester Chronicle. She went on to work for several BBC and ITV television and radio stations.
She was the 2001 recipient of two Royal Television Society awards.
A native of London, England, she later lived in Chester, England and Victoria, Australia.
She and Martha Kearney, born two years apart in England and Ireland, respectively, both had successful careers as broadcast journalists.
