Notable for her roles in the French-Canadian television shows Rene Levesque - Le Destin d'un Chef, Francois en Serie, Le Negociateur, and Chambres en Ville, she is also recognized for her performances in the films C'est Pas Moi, C'est l'Autre; Manigances: Notice Rouge; and Monsieur Papa.
She made her screen acting debut in the 1985 feature film Le Vieillard et l'Enfant.
She earned a Genie Award nomination for her portrayal of Sarah in the 1986 film Anne Trister.
She spent her youth in Greenfield Park, Quebec, Canada, and is the younger sister of fellow screen actress Charlotte Laurier. In her late teens, Lucie Laurier welcomed a son named Tim.
She and actor and musician Jeff Stinco were both in the cast of the 2007 action movie Nitro.
