Reggae Singer
Jamaican reggae singer known for promoting strong Rastafarian values in his music. He promotes clean lyrics and is also a marijuana activist. His career has spanned over 20 years and he's released over 40 albums.
"Ebony and Ivory" was his first single and it was released in 1992.
His album Zion Awake was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album in 2016.
His father passed away when he was just 11 and his mother was a gifted singer. He is the seventh of nine children. He had one son, Menelik McClymont, who was tragically murdered in February of 2016.
He collaborated with fellow reggae artists Sizzla and Anthony B on two live compilation albums released in 2001.
