Argentine field hockey midfielder and four-time Olympic medalist who is widely considered the best female field hockey player ever.
She began playing field hockey at age 7 with Club Atlético Fisherton in Rosario, Argentina.
She is the only player to win FIH Player of the Year Award seven times.
She is the daughter of Nilda and Rene Aymar.
She competed in her first Olympics in 2000 where runner Marion Jones won five medals, which she eventually had to forfeit.
