Striker who received the Paraguayan Footballer of the Year award for 2010. He has represented Paraguay internationally had great success as a member of clubs like Borussia Dortmund, Guangzhou Evergrande and Palmeiras.
He played for a variety of youth squads, including Mitre, Barracas Central and Juventud de Liniers.
He led Primera División de Chile in scoring in 2008.
His parents are Petrona Cáceres and Eugenio Barrios.
He was teammates with Roque Santa Cruz on Team Paraguay at the 2015 Copa America.
