American actress who had memorable roles came in the 1947 film Fun and Fancy Free, the 1948 movie Melody Time, and the 1957 Disney picture Johnny Tremain.
A model at the age of three who was soon after hired by Disney, she made her film debut in the 1946 musical Song of the South. She would appear in the sequel to that film two years later which was titled So Dear to my Heart.
She played Cynthia Perkins in a Perry Mason episode called The Case of the Scarlet Scandal.
She was married and divorced three times with none of the marriages lasting longer than five years.
She played the lead female role in the Irvin Kershner directed film The Young Captives.
