Dancer most recognized as one of the most influential figures of Canadian contemporary dance.
She began her career when she was 18, after landing a spot in the Le Groupe Nouvelle Aire.
In 1999, she received Canada's most prestigious prize for a dancer -- the Jean A. Chalmers National Award.
She was born in Montreal.
She participated in the 1990 Sound+Vision Tour, which starred musician David Bowie.
