Lorinc Szabo

Hungarian poet and translator known for A Satan Muremekei (Masterpieces of Satan), Regen es most (Then and Now), and other works. He also published a book of sonnets entitled The 26th Year.
He began writing for Az Est, a Budapest literary publication, in 1921.
He was a member of the European Writers' League, an organization that had been founded by intheir Nazi leader Joseph Goebbels.
He married Klara Mikes in 1921 and had two children. Later, he had a long-term relationship with Erzsebet Korzati that lasted until Korzati's 1950 suicide.
He translated Samuel Taylor Coleridge's their Kubla Khan into Hungarian.
