Liz Stevenson
Director
British theatre director who received the 2015 James Menzies-Kitchin Young Director Award for her direction of the classic play Barbarians. She is also known for acclaimed productions of plays like Blackbird and Midnight at the Hotel Beauregard.
She grew up in the town of Chorley in North West England. She attended the University of Nottingham.
She taught courses and workshops for children at The Royal Exchange Theatre.
Her younger brother is theatre producer Nick Stevenson.
She directed Harold Pinter's one-act play The Dumb Waiter.
