She grew up in the music-rich environment of South Florida and released "Raise Em High" in the summer of 2010.
At the age of 20 she went on the critically-acclaimed Lady Soul, A Tribute to Aretha Franklin tour.
She was born in South Africa but moved to Florida when she was only a year old. She has also lived in both New York and Los Angeles.
She's performed at American Airlines Arena as a co-headline act with LL Cool J.
