She starred in Bruce Almighty and the 1998 remake The Parent Trap.
She was married to Sam Baum, a part-time actor, and the couple had three sons and one daughter.
In the late 2000s, she turned to reality TV, creating the Oxygen competition show Dance Your Ass Off, hosted by Melanie Brown.
