Lisa P. Jackson

American chemical engineer who served as the Administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency from 2009 to 2013. She notably oversaw the EPA's response to the BP oil spill in 2010.
She studied engineering and received a scholarship from the Shell Oil Company.
She started her political career in New Jersey as the Commissioner of Environmental Protection of New Jersey under Jon Corzine.
She is the mother of two children with her husband, Kenneth Jackson.
