She practiced mixed martial arts prior to appearing on the reality TV show. She has since given it up to take care of her daughter, Aniyah.
Following her tenure on 16 & Pregnant, she married her boyfriend of one year in 2014. Her husband, TJ, wrote vows for both her and Aniyah.
She, TJ, and Aniyah began their life together in Reno, Nevada following the wedding. TJ has served as Aniyah's father figure since the two began dating.
She has made her home in Reno, Nevada, where famed fellow mixed martial artist Ken Shamrock also lives.
