Her name was inspired by her paternal great-grandmother's name, Rose.
Her sister Tierney also appears in The Vampire Diaries. She is a triplet with Tierney and her other sister Miley.
On The Vampire Diaries, she appeared alongside Candice Accola and Kat Graham.
