She learned to speak Spanish before she spoke English. She runs a blog called The LV Guide.
She is Mexican and Puerto Rican. She has two children with Patrick McGrath, whom she married in 2007. In April 2021 she announced that they were expecting their third child together.
She's made several appearances on Rachael Ray's show.
