She grew up an enormous fan of the Harry Potter books.
She performed as Anna from Disney's Frozen for ill children at Dream Day in 2015. She was an extra in the movie Dolphin Tale, and she appeared in musical theatre productions of Beauty and the Beast and Oklahoma.
Her parents are Jim and Karen Carlson.
She is the sister of fellow cosplayer Anna Faith.
