She graduated from Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Her life and career are the subject of the 2012 documentary Fight For it.
She was born in Pleasant Hill, California.
Her ear theirly exploded during a fight against Jessica Eye in UFC in November 2014.
