Best known by the stage name Da L.E.S., he is a rapper, entrepreneur, socialite, and reality television star whose critically acclaimed debut album is called Fresh2Def.
He was a founding member of the hip hop group JOZI in 2007. This helped establish him in the music industry and the group would go on to win an MTV Africa Music Award as well as numerous other awards.
He stars on the reality series Moving the City which was nominated as the Best Reality TV Show at the South African Film Television Awards.
He was born in Washington D.C. and moved to South Africa in 1993.
He has shared a stage with notable artists such as Kelly Rowland, Rick Ross, T-Pain, and 2Face.
