Voted the #1 Female Sportscaster of all-time by the American Sportscasters Association, she made history by being the first female NFL analyst on television.
She wanted to be a sportswriter from a young age which was unheard of for females at that time but her mother only supported her.
She is the only sportscaster, male or female, to cover the NFL, NCAA Tournament, NBA, MLB, Figure Skating, Tennis, and Horse Racing.
She was married to Dick Stockton from 1983 until 2010 and later married Bob Kanuth.
She was the first female to be a recipient of the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award by the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
