Zimbabwean musician whose group Barura Express was popular in the 1990s.
He started his musical career in the mid-1980s, scoring a couple of early hits with a group called the Outsiders.
His song "Chitekete" became enormously popular in Zimbabwe and is now a standard wedding song.
He grew up around Chivi in Masvingo, Zimbabwe.
Dembo and Leonard Zhakata both sing in Shona.
