Rockabilly double bassist who played with The Stray Cats. He also released several solo recordings and formed a musical group called Phantom, Rocker & Slick.
During his childhood years, he studied both the electric bass and the cello.
Beginning in 1981, he released ten albums with The Stray Cats.
He had two children with his wife Deborah.
He formed The Stray Cats with Brian Setzer in 1979.
