Jamaican reggae music producer who was involved in the development of dub music. He worked with high-profile artists such as Bob Marley and Max Romeo.
He started his career as a record seller for Clement Coxsone Dodd's sound system in the 1950s.
He had his first art exhibition at Dem Passwords art gallery in Los Angeles in 2010.
He had two children with his wife Mireille.
He produced albums that featured performances by Keith Richards with British producer Steve Marshall between 2007 and 2010.
