TV personality and pageant winner who finished as 1992's Miss Florida and 1993's Miss America. She hosted Entertainment Tonight in 1994-1995, and guest starred on Fear Factor, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Saved by the Bell.
She graduated from high school in 1989. She was first named Miss National Sweetheart in 1991.
She became the first actress to appear in the live version of The Little Mermaid as Ariel at Walt Disney World in 1991. She earned other stage credits, including in Barefoot in the Park, Godspell, and Bye Bye Birdie.
She and her ex-husband Mark Steines shared two sons named Ka and Avery. She passed away in October 2020 from complications from a head injury after a fall at her home.
She was succeeded as Miss America by Kimberly Aiken in 1994.
