She grew up in Hillsong Church, as her parents were the founders.
She and her husband are the Pastors of Senior High School Youth Ministry.
Her parents are Brian and Bobbie Houston. Her older brothers Joel and Benjamin are also pastors. She and her husband Peter had daughter Willow in 2011 and son Jack in 2014.
