First noticed by producer Al Christie at age 15, she earned small early roles for Fox and First National, before hitting her stride at Universal.
Awarded the WAMPAS Baby Star Award in 1923, her blond beauty was noticeable in films like the Crooked Alley and the 1924 film Sporting Youth.
She married William Seiter, who directed one of her most successful comedies, 1926's Skinner's Dress Suit.
Dorothy Devore, her contemporary, was also chosen as a WAMPAS Baby Star.
