Before committing to American Ninja Warrior, he has worked as a research assistant for the Forest Service and on-and-off as a hand on a ranch.
His success in obstacle courses has earned him sponsorships with companies like Jaxonbilt Hat Company, Lat 45 Crossfit, and Diamond Creek Company.
He and his wife Heather have two children.
