She gained moderate success as a child actor in films like The Magic Pearl and The Best Bad Thing. She later met Chester See in college at UCLA.
She gained fame in Japan after at the age of 15 she signed a recording deal with Sony Records and released four singles.
She was born in Los Angeles, California. Her mother was born in Japan and her father was born in Florida. She has two older sisters. She married Nathan Moore in November 2012.
She has collaborated with a gaggle of popular YouTubers and stars like Brizzy Voices, Alx James, and Ryan Higa. She even featured comic book legend Stan Lee in her June 2015 film Call to Heroes.
