Singer who made a name for herself as a background singer for artists like Gloria Estefan before finding success as a solo artist with songs like "Slip Away." In 2017, she began serving as a judge on the Swedish talent show Talang.
She grew up in Miami Shores and was considered a prodigy on piano. She did not begin singing seriously until attending the University of Miami.
She twice attempted to represented Sweden at the Eurovision song contest, competing in the 2004 and 2005 editions of Melodifestivalen.
She was raised primarily by her mother Jean. She did not see her father from ages two to sixteen.
She collaborated with Jan Lundgren on his album Until It's Time (2012).
