Point guard who has had massive success in the Philippine Basketball Association, winning PBA titles with the Alaska Aces and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. He was named the PBA Finals MVP in 2010, 2016 and 2017.
He attended the private Don Bosco Technical Institute in Makati, Philippines.
He was a member of the Philippine men's national team which won gold at the 2012 William Jones Cup.
He married Chesca Bugia, the sister of his former Ateneo teammate Paolo Bugia.
He has been teammates with Mark Caguioa on Barangay Ginebra San Miguel.
