He played with HAGL - Arsenal JMG Academy in his youth career from 2007 to 2014.
He was the runner-up at AFC U-23 Championship in 2018.
His parents are Nguyen Thi Son and Luong Bach Chien.
He and Justin Myers have both played soccer in Vietnam.
