South Korean film star who is best known for his starring role in the 2003 romantic comedy, My Tutor Friend. He received additional fame for his role in the drama series, Stairway to Heaven.
He started his acting career at age 23 in the 1999 film, O Dreamland.
He won a 2010 SBS Top Excellence Award for his role in the dramatic series, Daemul.
He married Son Tae-young in 2008. The couple welcomed a son named Luke in 2009 and a daughter in 2015.
He is best friends with fellow actor Song Seung-heon.
