She began participating in synchronized swimming competitions as a nine year old.
Prior to becoming a social media sensation, she was a synchronized swimming champion. She has won gold four times during world championship swimming events and twice during the European championships.
Though she is based out of the Miami, Florida area, she is a native of Moscow, Russia.
She is a professional swimmer, just like Michael Phelps.
