She made her first church choir solo performance at the age of three. She sang on the Rosie O'Donnell Show when she was ten years old.
She released her first single as a solo artist, "All Cried Out," in 2013.
She is the daughter of Clint and Kathy Harrison. Her father tragically passed away in a plane crash and in 2009 her mother died in a car accident. She has three siblings.
She was defeated by Candice Glover in the 2013 American Idol finale.
