Versatile forward/midfielder who has gained fame for her international club career, including for Manchester City W.F.C. of the FA Women's Super League between 2016-2017. She won the FA Women's Super League and Continental Cup titles in 2016.
She played youth soccer for Vimmerby IF. She made her pro debut with Linköpings FC in 2007.
She earned a silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games with Sweden's senior national soccer squad. In 2017, she won the Diamantbollen for midfielder of the year.
Her brother's name is Arment Asllani.
She and Thaisa Moreno have played as teammates for the Spanish Primera Division squad CD Tacon beginning in 2019.
