BBC World News anchor best known for hosting Focus on Africa. Earlier in his career, he hosted such radio and television programs as Network Africa, The World Today, and Africa Business Report.
He graduated from the University of Ghana with degrees in sociology and psychology. He later earned a graduate degree in public administration from Harvard University.
A highlight of his career was his 2003 Journalist of the Year Award from the Ghana Journalists Association.
He had three children with his wife Kwansema. He died of cardiac arrest at the age of forty-one.
