Son of longtime MLB ace pitcher Roger Clemens who was drafted by the Houston Astros in 2005.
He played baseball at the University of Texas, his father's alma mater.
He played baseball in the Caribbean leagues, but moved away mid-season for fear of being kidnapped.
His mother is Debra Lynn Godfrey and he has three siblings, Kory, Kacy and Kody.
Pitcher Mel Stottlemyre's two sons also pitched in the Major Leagues.
