Ko Wen-je

Taiwanese surgeon who is recognized for having standardized organ transplant procedures in Taiwan. He is also known for his political activism and ended up winning the 2014 Taipei Mayoral Election.
He served in the Republic of China Army from 1986-1988.
In 2006, he published an article titled "Reflections, Errors, and Apologies: Chao Chien-ming."
He married his wife Chen Pei-chi in 1991.
Both he and film director Ang Lee were born in Taiwan.
