She pursued acting in high school in order to overcome a broken heart. She went on to study at Seoul Institute of the Arts.
She was a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live Korea from 2011 until 2013.
She has one brother and one sister.
In the popular series Oh My Ghostess, she starred opposite Jo Jung-suk and Park Bo-young.
