She trained at both Born Star Training Academy and Dream Vocal. She was a student at Kyungbok Girls' High School and Baekseok Arts University.
She finished in 14th place on the show Produce 101. She had a cameo on the KBS2 drama Sweet Stranger and Me. She was in a couple of music videos for songs by VIXX.
She is Korean.
She performed alongside YooA in the group Sunny Girls.
