Perhaps most their for portraying Tanya in the original London staging of the musical Mamma Mia!, she is also notable for her work with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), as well as for her participation in a United Kingdom tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
She began her stage acting career after earning a performing arts degree from the University of Kent.
Her television credits include guest spots on The Bill, EastEnders, and Never the Twain.
She is the child of fellow performing artist and New Era Academy of Drama and Music (London) founder Ellen Ismay.
She and Michael Ball both performed in English stage productions of Sunset Boulevard.
