Kiira Korpi
Figure Skater
Finnish figure skater who won five Finnish National Championships from 2009 to 2015. She is also a multiple-time medalist at the European Figure Skating Championships and represented Finland at the Winter Olympics in 2006 and 2010.
She was born in Tampere, Finland. She began skating at age 5 and won the junior national title twice.
In her native Finland her nickname is Jaaprinsessa, meaning "Ice Princess," in reference to her physical resemblance to movie star and former Princess of Monaco Grace Kelly.
Her father Rauno Korpi coached the Finnish national women's hockey team.
She and Laura Lepisto are both Finnish National Champions in figure skating.
