Defender nicknamed "Keon" who played for Kedah FA in Malaysian Super League for more than a decade starting in 2007. He was called up to the senior Malaysian national squad in 2010 and has served as the team captain.
He played his youth soccer with Kedah.
In 2010, he led Malaysia to their first-ever AFF Suzuki Cup title.
He has children.
He has played with Baddrol Bakhtiar on Kedah.
