Basketball Coach
Long-time men's basketball head coach for the Vanderbilt University Commodores who earned SEC Coach of the Year honors in 2007 and 2010. He took the head coaching job at Pitt in 2016.
His first coaching position was as an assistant for Purdue from 1982 until 1988. He then was an assistant at Kansas.
His first head coaching job was for the Illinois State Redbirds starting in 1993.
He was born in Collinsville, Illinois.
He was hired by Roy Williams as the assistant coach at Kansas.
