Owner of three restaurants and a cocktail bar in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he prides himself on understanding that a good restaurant is more than just delicious food, that it also acts to bring communities together.
He grew up around food and attended culinary school. He had the great fortune of working under great chefs who taught him about food and community.
Two generations of his family owned and operated a Mom and Pop restaurant.
Born in McKees Rocks, he would later move to Braddock with his wife and two children.
His restaurant Salt of the Earth was a James Beard award semi-finalist for Best New Restaurant in 2011.
