Professional infielder that was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates during the first round of the 2015 MLB Draft. He began his professional career playing for the West Virginia Black Bears of the New York-Penn League.
Prior to being drafted, he attended the University of Arizona where he was a three-time member of the All-Pac-12 team.
He made his major league debut playing against the Atlanta Braves on August 16, 2018.
He lives with his wife, Shayne Marie, and their daughter.
He played alongside Colin Moran as a member of the Pirates during the 2021 MLB season.
