He was influenced to pursue music after attending a Sex Pistols gig; he and his brother started the band Submerged Teeth.
He has two daughters who started their own band called Blackblack.
He had two children with his wife Pamela Dompe.
He has toured with Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails.
