Kevin Bieksa
Hockey Player
Known as an aggressive and well-rounded defenseman, he debuted for the Vancouver Canucks in 2004 after being drafted by them in 2001. He became one of Vancouver's top defenders for over a decade before a 2015 trade sent him to the Anaheim Ducks.
He played minor hockey for the Jr. Kings in the OMHA's Niagara District BB-E League.
He played hockey at Bowling Green State University on scholarship.
He was born to Al Bieksa and Angela Lombardo. He married Katie Bieksa in 2007.
He was drafted by Don Cherry of the Mississauga Ice Dogs in the 1998 OHL draft.
