Kermit Erasmus

South African professional footballer who is known for playing as a striker and winger with the Orlando Pirates FC and the AFC Eskilstuna. He is also known for playing as a striker on the South Africa national team.
He attended the SuperSport Feyenoord Academy and upon graduation, joined SuperSport United in 2007. He began playing with Feyenoord the following season and was loaned out to Excelsior FC shortly thereafter. In 2008, he began playing for South Africa's Under 20 national team and in 2010, he moved up to their first national team.
He has earned several awards and honors for his playing including CAF Team of the Year in 2015 for his work with South Africa's national team. He has also won the Nedbank Cup in 2011 with Supersport United and again in 2013 with the Orlando Pirates.
He married Lauren Koehoorn and together they have two children.
He played alongside Percy Tau and Andile Jali on the South Africa national team during the 2018 COSAFA Cup.
