He won the Lefty Driesell Award for best collegiate defensive player during his junior year at Old Dominion University.
He went undrafted in 2012 and spent the next season partially with the Warriors and partially with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the NBA Developmental League.
He was born and raised in Kelford, North Carolina.
He joined Stephen Curry on the Golden State Warriors in 2012.
