Kenny Atkinson
Basketball Coach
Former professional basketball player who has also worked as the head coach for the Brooklyn Nets. He also worked as the Director of Player Development for the Houston Rockets from 2007 to 2008.
He played college basketball for the University of Richmond. In 1988, he led his team to a Sweet Sixteen berth in NCAA Basketball Tournament.
He has also worked on the coaching staffs for the New York Knicks, Paris Basket Racing, and the Atlanta Hawks.
His parents are Pauline and Neil Atkinson. He has four brothers, Mike, Steve, Tom, and Brian. He has two children, Annika and Anthony, with his wife Laura.
He was an assistant coach to Mike Budenholzer.
